- This type of statue is intended to drive away evil influences which may disrupt the daily lives of inhabitants. It is placed within dwellings, outside them and along roads,at the entrance to bridges, etc.
- Figure in sitting position, bent knees with the elbows resting on them and the hands joined in a “namaste” gesture. The face is very expressive and balanced. The wood is furrowed, with a crack in the head.
